To NBA or not to NBA?
With the NBA season in jeopardy, only one thing can satisfy basketball fans until further notice: NBA 2K12... and/or playing ball at the gym.... and/or college ball when they begin the season. So I guess there is more than one way to satisy the hardwood craving.
I enjoy it all so of course I got pumped about the release of 2K12 at midnight tonight, and I started reasearching. I came across this list of player ratings and thought I'd post it again for those of you (2 people) that view my blog. Get it while it's hot!

Bracketology by Skim
March madness has begun. As your go-to sports guru I feel required to drop you all a few college hoops knowledge bombs. By "your" I mean the two of you who actually check this blog. Back on track. There are plenty of upsets this year. First is Marquette. Watch out for these sly devils. DWade came from Marquette so you know they are competitors. I see them making it to round two, but thats it. Still an upset special of mine in round 1. Next is Belmont. They face a 4 seed in WI, but I hate Wisconson sports teams (I'm from MN its a rule) so that along with Belmont beating many top seeded teams throughout the regular season non-conference matchups makes me think Belmont is legit. They can defend like they need to, and score inside and out. They could make the sweet sixteen if my matchups all take the road I have created for everyone. Anyway, watch for the usual Old Dominion to make it past round 1 they always do - another upset according to seeding. Thats all the secret upsets I can reveal at this time. Lets move on to the better seeded upset specials of the month. BYU and those mormons will be competitive with Jimmer at the helm; Purdue (big 10 rules); Butler (yes again can go far); Washington could go far in the East but wont beat Ohio State; Arizona has studs and a great coach so watch for them in the West; and my personal favorite is LOUISVILLE. Each team I listed has a chance to make a run to the final four and possibly play for the championship in my eyes. This could be a record setting season of college hoops so keep your eyes peeled and ears ummmm q-tipped good I guess. This is a last minute Bracket post for advice so if you haven't completed a bracket or want to make changes, go ahead at this time. I'm your man. I got your back. Just say Mertes drops bows on em'
I'm so confident I've spent my winnings already. On what? Charlie Sheen's tiger blood. That's how I know all this, DUH! Later homies.

Tsunami rocks Japan
In case you live under a rock, another natural disaster has taken its toll on us earthlings. The photo above is way too real. It makes me wonder if the earths techtonic plates are shifting as rapidly as they have been (about once per year), how long will we really last? Things that make you go hmmmmm. Just sayin.
