Minnesota Favre Vikings Fever

Well well well, look what we have here. Brett Favre decided to play for the Vikings after all. The fact that he changed his mind again doesn't surprise me. The fact that he is making up stories about the communication between the Vikings front office does. I've heard that his daughter said she wanted Brett to play for the vikes and thats why he changed his mind. I've heard that Childress called Brett and asked him to reconsider. I've also heard that he took a dump and the poo took the shape of a the vikings "horn" logo. Who cares what made him decide to play for Minnesota. The fact is he will be the starting QB and he makes the team better.
I was torn at first when I heard he signed a 25 Million dollar 2 year deal. First of all, he will be 40 in October and that is old. I question if he'll hold up through the entire season. Second, what about the rest of the Vikings team? They all went through 2 a days and slept in dorm rooms. Then in comes Favre on a private jet followed by ride in a cushy escalade to Winter Park and begins taking snaps with the first team right off the bat? Not fair in my mind. Lastly, Brett has been putting the fans through turmoil as well. Is he coming? Is he not? Then he is talking to Childress. Then he retires "for good." As a Minnesota fan I finally felt relief when Brett's "decision" was made a few weeks back. Sage looked good in the first pre-season game and I was excited. The next day I hear Favre is going to sign a deal. It was a roller coaster ride as a fan so I can't imagine what it has been like for the rest of the Vikings. Unless of course they knew all along and this was a conspiracy. Who the heck knows?
Overall I'm glad to see a Hall of Fame QB come to the Vikings and make us a super bowl contender this season. But if Brett sucks I will hate him forever.
