Favre remains retired

Brett Favre told the Minnesota Vikings Tuesday that he will remain retired. My sources tell me that Brett just didn't think his body would hold up through another brutal NFL season. I mean the man is like 60 years old. One big hit and I feel like his body would split in two. It's a good decision and I still think he should have retired the first time he said he would retire. He was on top of his game in Green Bay and on top of the QB leader board in many statistical categories. No, Favre wont loose those records until another QB passes his all time TD or all time INT record, but I feel a decision such as retirement has to be like marriage - it should only be made once in your life. As for the MN Vikings, looks like T-Jack will be under center to start the season. Everyone pray that he can at least improve. Us Minnesota fans just have to cross our fingers that the players around T-jack can make him look good. Only time will tell. I think the Vikings go 9-7 this season and squeak into the playoffs only to loose in the first round. I mean, it is a Minnesota sports team.
